Title: DMV Reservoir Covers installed ...
Post by: sas mayhem on February 27, 2013, 04:13:07 PM
Well I got my covers in today from DMV http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin/ptlist.phtml?Category=352253 (http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin/ptlist.phtml?Category=352253) , and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the cover. There pretty beefy aluminium and a prefect fit. I went with the gold just for them to stand out.

Nicely packed

Very clean machine work

But where would I mount my Escort Passport radar detector?  ;D  Putting Velcro on top of those would be a shame.

I was admiring your covers and couldn't help but noticing those levers. I had a set on my C10. Where did you get those for your C14?

Right here dude412, http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin/ptlist.phtml?Category=352253 (http://www.dmv.com.tw/html/front/bin/ptlist.phtml?Category=352253). From the time I ordered then to my house in NC was a total of 11 days, coming from Taiwan.

I saw these Engine Guards on their site as well: [Top Block similars]

Interesting.  But I could not find them (and I spent quite a while at it, too).

Me neither. I was curious because they are very pricy to buy them directly from Topblock.

Maybe it is better they hid them!  This is all they say, other than another pic and a hefty $500 price:

"The design of DMVproducts originates from the very feature of every vehicle. It works the same as how gene molds human being. In other words. DMV can always surprise you although what we do is simply make the born nature more outstanding. "

Thanks. Seems like you get a lot more for your money from the MC Enterprises Canyon Cages.

Most certainly.

With just that one picture, I am trying to figure out what the hell they did.  Can't figure out the attachment at all... must be missing quite a few parts in the photo.  It almost looks like the rear attaches with just a press fit into the hole or something strange.

I think they are a no drill option, and they have to have a pass through bar unless they are using the stock mount bar some how.  Looks like they mount to the fwd engine mounts as well like the McEnterprise bars.  I actually prefer the Top Blocks even if I have to drill through the lower panel.

The Top Blocks look better.  But it is nice to see other options.  This really deserves it's own thread, although I doubt anyone is going to spend that much money on a completely undocumented product/design.  So the thread wouldn't be all that long (and certainly mostly contain just speculation).
