I ordered a new axle nut adapter from motorcycle superstore. It was only 9.95, and I thought that was a great deal. Turns out, it's a pretty well made tool, and much cheaper than the ones I've seen around that are usually 25 bucks. I'll be using it in the spring to get My wheels off for a tire change.

Thanks for the heads up.

A decent price for it. Although it looks like two unthreaded nuts were welded together.
I'll stick with my homemade tool. It's a bolt with two nuts on it. I've heard the hex portion of a 13/16 spark plug socket works well too.

That's what I use, 13/16ths socket...

It's a quality made tool. Def not two nuts welded together....though I have one of those also.haha I like this one because it's small enough to carry in the standard tool kit. With a good crescent wrench in a saddlebag, I can get a wheel off on the side of the road if necessary. I do carry tire plugs and a slime compressor though, so needing to get a wheel off is less likely. Still happy to retire My homemade tool, that I never really trusted not to break.
