These come with new Modular N103 helmets, I have half a dozen I don't use so if someone can use them please let me know.
These are the add-on fog-shields not the outside flip-up shield. They attach to the inside using the two pins molded to the main shield. They help prevent the shield from fogging in really cold weather.

Sounds like the Pinlock system. I spent over $100 for a new shield with the Pinlock system for my Shoei. If you ride a lot in the winter, worth every penny.
