UK Site. But, it does say "colour matched cover to be ordered separately".
And, don't most of you have trunks larger than 39L?
-
I've seen the ZX1400 with a trunk. I'd be afraid of it being ripped off by the wind at anything above 100 mph, but it was in the UK where they have speed traps every 100 yards, so I guess for easy touring it is a big help with the luggage.
-
Good to see you back, Martin. It's been awhile since you posted.
-
There may be other models in the linup in that colour such as the Ninja 1000.

I won't tell you how fast this GIVI 55L trunk has been. But it has the GIVI mount that bolts directly to subframe.

But I will say at Daytona Bike week Laura got so bored while it was being installed free by GIVI, took around 3 hours with their team all over it :D

Maybe it is for the Versys.

I really like the Candy Lime Green and the new Golden Blazed Green on the '13 Z1000, but I must be old school, because Kawi Green will always be Lime Green to me. The lime green that comes on the race bikes from MX to SS.
-
Twowheeladdict, I agree with you. I converted my Ninja 1000 to be completely "Candy lime green" colored, and it looks good. But, for me, its not quite the real thing.

Post up some pics RC... 8)

ZG, heres a fairly recent one. I added an Arrow header since then, and had Traxxion rebuild the rear shock..almost done! LOL I know "NINJA" , on the bike, is not spelled correctly. My granddaughter, in a fit of anger, called the bike "The Nija" and the name stuck.

thanks, good to be back, too. I was on holidays for 5 weeks (visiting family and friends in Argentina). Missed the bike, but I've got a 1200GS for 3 weeks down there to scratch the bug of driving a bike.
@rcannon: that is a beauty! :hail:

The ONLY problem with that color-----
Someone calling LEO , it was a BRIGHT GREEN bike
I'm affraid to admit .. with this much power I enjoy using it for short bursts
I've been lucky so far ;)
-
If Leo don;t see you who cares who calls. I've had so many Lime green Ninja bikes in different sizes and years...color only gets wiminz not cops. The bike in any shade gets cops (http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/stevewfl/avatars/dblthumb2.gif)

Thanks you guys. The Ninja is a fun bike. The C14 caused me to buy it, really. I loved my sv650. Plenty of power and good handling. Then I got the c14. Suddenly I felt like I had to peddle the sv. It was uncomfortable and not much fun. The handling was good, but not much else.
The Ninja fixed the power issue, is very comfortable, and handles great after some suspension work. I had to pay an extra 400.00 or so to order in the green panels, but I love the candy green color. It does show up well going through an intersection as opposed to the stock black center color.

Nope, we have a dark green 1400GTR here in the UK this year, not Team Green.
As for speed, my trunk has done 155Mph (A3 Autobahn, Germany) but again it's mounting plate is bolted to a 1/4" ally plate.
I wouldn't trust that flimsy plastic OEM "rack" to hold my sandwiches.

I've been well over 100 mph with my C-14 and trunk with no problems.

^^^^^^^^^^^This pic in the blog, I've tapped the ground with my hand more times than i can count. Teressa has been on the back when I've done it and raised ^%$ about it, sportbike friends behind me are shocked, and there's nothing to it. I couldn't do it on my R1 (uspension set) with Teressa on the back while on the Road Atlanta track, but on the Connie its like no effort.
Leaned over this behemoth bike is so planted and stable its incredible.

Blue Ridge Parkway?

Blue Ridge Parkway?
I don't know where the rider above was, but I've done it on the parkway, cheroholla, dragon, anywhere the turn is long enough to get my hand down without upsetting the bike in the midst of the turn.
-
You wild and crazy guy!
-
I prefer the traditional Kawa Green
