I wish I could do that... but I will never try it, too risky! ;)

These are old clips: sorry if they've been posted already, but I couldn't find them on the site

I'd be lost after about the 2nd turn, which would be ok because I don't have the skill anyway.

And not taking his foot off the pegs once. That's Awesome.

+2 I mean his skill is impressive but even more impressive how do they know were to ride on the course?

Yep. I'm easily confused and that would put me over the edge. Can't imagine how planes get to the boarding areas either at night with all those different colored runway lights.

That's easier because they're instructed by the Ground controller.
Moreover they have the Airport diagram at hand.
Nevertheless, sometimes pilots don't understand the instructions and overshoot the destination... or worse! ???
Just an example here:

I'm just guessing, but maybe there are some sort of markers painted on the pavement?
It looks like there might be some pattern to the cone colors as well. Red cones to the rider's right, blue to the left. Yellow appears to indicate circling the cone(s), stacked cones add to this.

We used to do field events as part of the Yamaha 650 society gatherings. I always thought they were fun, but of course none were as complex as the one in the video. There is no way I could remember that course, even when I still had a sound mind.

I get dizzy just watching the video.
