Title: She's back together, but....
Post by: wahrsuul on December 03, 2012, 07:32:44 AM
Spent a good part of saturday working on the bike.  Got the clutch fluid cleaned out - it looked like oil - and the valves adjusted.  There are 16 valves, and only 3 were within spec.  Valve train is much quieter now.  All the plastic is back on and everything works.  Still needs an oil change, but I neglected to get a filter, so it'll have to wait till tuesday.  But I still have the paperwork to do - tax tag & title and she'll be on the road.

But I've run into a small issue with the clock.  It works as long as the key is on, but resets as soon as you turn the bike off.  Any ideas?

The clock behaviour means the accessory fuse is blown.
