Hi folks, there is an inexpensive product out there called Ride-On. Check it out on Youtube and Ride-On.com. This is a gel/fiber material that when added via the air valve to the interior of the tire, will act as a dynamic "balancer" and will fill and seal any puncture up to 1/4 inch in diameter. They claim that the gel will also reduce road noise and will extend tire life by for instance, preventing "cupping". Since our tires are U shaped this product will not protect the side walls. My concern is the impact that this material will have on the internal pressure sensors. Apparently, Some Gold Wings do not do well since their sensors are not hermetically sealed. Kawasaki hasn't given me any info to go on. Is there anyone out there who have used this system?

I have used Ride ON TPS for awhile. Seems to make my tires last longer and definatly smooths out the ride. MY Kawasaki dealer is a dealer and has no problem with sensors. It will cost around $45.00 three bottles for the C14 and I have yet to install it in the stock tires.

$45 for tire sealant/balancing liquid?!!
That seems pretty dang steep to me.

I use it in my heavy truck (class 7 and 8) tires with great success. Fred from the other place has lots of pictures and horror stories about it and what it does to wheels......it has never caused any issue with my aluminum truck wheels though.

I tried it in one bike and liked it OK. Definitely would come in handy if you pick up a nail in the tire. I go through a lot of tires(3 or 4 sets a year) so another $200 a year for Ride-On just doesn't seem worth it to me.
You still balance the wheel before you install the Ride-On, then it is supposed to help keep the wheels balanced as you ride. If I could find tires that would last 30,000 miles it would be more worthwhile to add the product.

I hear tell people that do their own tires changes can scrape out the TPS and plop it in the new skin. I have seen pics of the TPS when a tire gets pulled and it sticks to the tread portion of the tire inside.
