Title: Running rough off idle
Post by: F-106 on October 15, 2012, 01:52:03 PM
Rode the 06 on over the weekend and ran great. Got on it this morning for work, Started normal but I noticed once I took off it had a stumble off idle worse than normal 1100-3500 range. I did add a 1/2 a can of Seafoam last night before going to bed. Tank was 3/4 full. The stumble is better once the bike is warm. Idles great and goes down the highway fine. Any thoughts?

ride the bike till it's out of gas, refill with GOOD gas, add a bottle of IsoHeet and ride that tank thru completely.....then refill with GOOD gas.
add some marine grade Stabil after that.

do not mix additives in the same tank of fuel.....always run them out of the tank, and let them do the job...then add fresh fuel....

oh, draining the float bowls occasionally helps also... ;)
