Title: Dash light question

Alright so I am rehabbing a 92 I picked up for my girlfriend and there are enough differences to my 05 that am asking dumb questions.

When I turn on the ignition does the oil light come on or not? I'm thinking it is probably a burnt out bulb, but I want to pick the knowledge base here for confirmation.

My 95 does.

It is supposed to come on. My old gauges did before i changed to newer style.
