I am debating buying this motorcycle. Looking for ANY and ALL feedback on both the price, and the motorcycle itself.

2009 Kawasaki Concours 1400 ZG1400 - $8000
2009 Kawasaki ZG 1400 Concours. Bike is in mint condition. Only has 11,860 miles. You won't find a cleaner Kawasaki Concours anywhere. Beautiful black metallic paint is flawless. This bike is incredibly fast, but comfortable enough to put away some serious miles. The Concours 1400cc engine blows away all the other bikes in its class! This bike needs nothing, ready for a long weekend or road trip. Large saddlebags will haul everything you need
In advance, thank you for your opinions!

It appears to not have ABS if that's important to you...

Nah, it will be back. I spoke to the guys at the shop this morning. They've had it listed for seven months now, started the listing at $9000.
Considering it's non ABS, and they're having trouble selling it, I am considering offering them $6500 and seeing what they say.

What shop? Where is it currently for sale at?

Still under warranty? Extended warranty might be an inducement.

That does sound a little high to me. I bought mine (09) non- abs in early 2010 for 10,500 brand new. I think your offer sounds more fair then the asking price.

I wouldn't accept $6500 for mine so I suspect a dealership would not either. I think $7500-8000 would be reasonable.

depends on the market. I bought my '08 non abs with 13K on the clock for $8000 just two months ago. That's what they are going for here. I think that the 8K they are asking is fair.

It also depends on who you make the offer to. It's been there 7 months. That's long enough to prove it's gonna be a loser to the owner of the place. When I see a bike sit for over 6 months, I go directly to the owner and offer what I think it's worth. Since he is not paying any commissions to salespeople, he can go down and dirty, just to get it off the floor. I'd offer 6500 and see if he counters with 7000. If he comes back with 7500 either be ready to take it or try again, for 7200. It's always easier to deal with the owner, if he will talk to you, because they usually will immediately give you an answer, unlike salesperson who has to go negotiate with the owner before you get an answer. Now some folks like to make the salespeople like them. But you can pay full retail and the salesguy is gone a month later, what did you do? You bought respect memories. Good luck!
