Got a little bored with the standard black dash and decided to try something new. Had picked up a set of Sharpie metallic permanent markers at Walmart a few days ago (for no reason at all than to just have them), when I was struck with an idea. Went out to the garage this morning with the silver marker in hand and carefully trimmed the rim of the instrument bezels. Don't know if anybody had already done this but thought it came out fairly well. Only time will tell how it holds up to the outdoors. Just sharing the cheap :D:

I did something similar to this, but instead I used some white touchup paint I had. I carefully painted the embossed letters on the headlight adjustment knobs so that I could see which way to turn them for adjusting up and down. Makes the adjustment much easier now that I can tell which way to turn them...I used to strain my eyes trying to see the black on black before.

Seems like that might give some nasty glare issues when the sun hits it right.

Mine got touched up courtesy of the sun, now my left needle looks like silly putty. At least it still works.

My needles did that also. I am waiting until closer to the end of my warranty to get my cluster replaced.
