Shad's customer support and service is non existent.
I want the optional paintable lid for my Shad 50 ('cuz it looks ugly w/o). Called different Shad dealers, they say that they are waiting for Shad to call them back on it. Scooter Shop said they could get one, they never did, never responded to my emails or phone messages and now i have to contact Amex as they charged me $65 on 8/1 for a lid that was never delivered.
Tried Murph, he said that they never called him back.
I tried the shad online site. Here is a paste from their website:
" Helpful Info
Toll-Free: 800-555-555
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST"
What'd you all think of that phone number? Yeah, missing a digit- they don't even have the balls to give a f-ing legit phone number!
They really, really hate being bothered.
I sent them an email saying I wanted a lid, preferably in silver. This is what they sent me:
"Hello Dear,
Unfortunally I dont have any of the silver color plates available right now,
the colors I have on stock are
BLUE, WHITE, RED, titanium, gloss Black.
Best Regards
Andres Davis "
Note how they still don't include a phone number? So silly me, I send an email back asking how I can buy any color lid that they DO have. This was over two weeks ago, they never responded.
For those who are happy with the Shad trunk they own, great for you. If anything ever breaks on it or if you need anything for it, this is what you should expect.

Really? Corbin was quick to help me out in the past.

Does Corbin give a valid phone number on their website or a bogus 6 digit number like Shad?

I got a Corbin seat from a forum member and didn't get the bracket that locks the front seat in place with the sale. No biggie, it works just fine without it, but I figured I should get it anyway.
I called Corbin and they won't sell it to me, I have to go through a dealer, even though I can ride to Corbin's Hollister, CA location.
Looked up the dealers and went to the one in town and they took my info. I didn't hear from them, so 3 weeks later, went back in there and they said they were waiting on a call back from Corbin still. It has now been 6 months since that and I have still not heard a peep from anyone.

I'm sure that you must have asked the forum member that you bought the seat from about the bracket?

Hope this helps. I bought my SH46 used some 3+ years ago, some 45000 miles of use by me, unknown from PO. From what I see they are primarily an overseas outfit, may explain the short number you have. I hate to hear that a good product is providing such terrible service. Hope things work out.

Don't have any cases, but found this for Shad's Miami office...
19096 Northeast 4th Court Miami, FL 33179
(305) 652-6366
At least it's an actual phone number.
Looks like the company is in Spain.

Don't feel bad the Givi E55 logo is off center, as is their template for the luggage rack. I informed them months ago, they will let me know when they have a fix.
I'm not holding my breath.

I did and he said he didn't know anything about a bracket and didn't have one that looked like what I sent for a picture.
