Title: Emergency safety lamp
Post by: gtr1000 on May 26, 2011, 05:38:46 AM
Not sure where to place this thread but here goes anyway.............

A few months back, one or two of you were asking about emergency lamps in case of breakdowns. They had to be small, have self contained power, be portable and bright IIRC.

I found this OTP and I'm guessing it should be available in the States  :-\ http://www.emergencyequipmentshop.co.uk/road-safety-lamp-p-629.html?osCsid=e527ccbef48c7bfdd15f5744c2fa65f6 (http://www.emergencyequipmentshop.co.uk/road-safety-lamp-p-629.html?osCsid=e527ccbef48c7bfdd15f5744c2fa65f6)

They are pretty good in the dark - not so in the daytime. My former FD bought a bunch before I left.

$93 for a 4 pack at Amazon. (http://www.amazon.com/Athena-1185-Road-Flare--Case/dp/B004DY8FYM/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1306416231&sr=1-3)

And out of curiosity, what's a "FD"?
