Anyone here use Samsung Galaxy S (or any other android smart phones)? Is there an app that I can use to voice dail using SENA SMH10 bluetooth?
-
I think I can voice dial to my not so smart phone using the SMH-10. I occasionally hit wrong buttons and it wants me to say something through the phone interface (bluetooth connected). Never tried it for real though. You may want to go to Sena's forum site and ask the question or do a search over there.

I do it with my less than smart phone and SMH-10; got to be able to do it with the Galaxy w/o an additional app ??

Maybe Awaz's phone is too smart and just refuses to talk.
-
Yeah it is too smart for its britches! Guess I need to upgrade to Android 2.2.1 and perhaps get an app.
-
or maybe a not smart phone.... ;)
-
Oh its smart alright, but not a 'voice dialing' smart. Kinda like giving a shovel to a computer geek to go dig a trench.
-
You musta used yer phone to start the thread ;)

I upgraded the OS to gingerbread (Android 2.3) last night. Let me see if I can figure something out now. Unblieveable ! a smartphone that cannot voice dail. My girzzled old Motorola Razr used to be able to do that!

It sounds to me like it's pretty "Smart" it's trying to keep you from using it while you are riding or driving.

Good point.

Yup, my dumb phone responds every time I hit the phone button on the back of my SMH-10. Trouble is, my phone rarely understands what I say to it ::)

I knew I will eventually outsmart the thing. Once I upgraded to Gingerbread (Android 2.3), google search came with it. And it responds just fine to voice command via bluetooth. Tested it out - all is good now.
