Title: reflash the ecu. is it necassary
Post by: scootertrash on August 16, 2012, 05:03:13 PM
So ive got an 08 zg, silverish like a shark. It has a pc5 with autotune, and two bro's slip on. Is there a speed limiting nazi in my ecu, or would reflashing it be a waist of time and money?
I've done 150, and ran out of road, so I would like to use my own speed limiter, and not big brother.
I had a 03 svt cobra mustang that was speed limited to 155, and it got there very quickly with plenty of revs left. So after getting the fun police out of the ecu, the car was ridiculously awesome.

08's are not speed limited by their ECU like the newer bikes...

If you are happy with your tune, I wouldn't waste the money on a reflash at this time

Thank you boys and girls. Your knowledge and opinions are very much appreciated.
As i've heard said, if you don't learn something new every day, your not trying hard enough.
