I've got an 08 Connie and want to hard wire my gps to get rid of the cigarette lighter plug and install a permanent plug in for an electric vest.
How or where do I find out how much power the Connie generates to safely power these electrical accessories so I'm not draining the battery?
I know, probably been asked and answered before, but I honestly don't even know what words to use to search.

Unless you are running off the battery without the engine going you probably won't have a problem. I run a heated vest and gloves and sometimes pants and socks (Gerbings) and never had a problem with the charging system. My Gerbings connection is hardwired to the battery. Someone should chime in on the available output wattage...

Don't sweat a lack of alternator output when you use accessories. The C14 generates just about all you can need at idle. In the winter when I'm wearing electrically heated clothing (Gerbing vest, pants, and gloves. Running heated grips, GPS, radar detector and bright lights) the battery voltage at idle remains above 14 volts. You can see what it generates by looking at the C14's volt meter on your dash.

Like others have said, no worries.
I run heated jacket liner and gloves, heated grips, and GPS in the winter with no issues. Alternator is pretty stout on this beast.

Heated grips, gloves, jacket plus GPS and phone charger with no charging issues, but of the battery through a relay. The Kawi 10A circuit wouldn't cut it.
