Ok all, I have a relatively new CSOne installed on our 2010. Seems like my wifes boot or something got some rubber on the exhaust pipe, not the can. Any ideas on what to use to get it off?

I had this exact same thing happen to my Muzzys... :(
Do this:
While the pipe is still hot (like after a ride) take some "0000" super fine steel wool to it, just rub back and fourth and it will come right off and more importantly it will not scratch your pipe. I was totally scared to do it myself from fear of scratching the pipe but trust me it worked great and did not leave any scratches. :)

Great will try that. Thx.

Instead of Steel Wool, use Brass Wool. Less abrasive, and ideal for cleaning up pipes.
You have to own an HD (or know people that do) to know things like that. ;)

+1 easy to find... 0000 steel wool only.

Might see how well oven cleaner works.

That is an easy off way to remove/damage paint with over spray... ;)

How do you get it into an oven?
