These were on the bike when I got it. KD says they lower the pegs 35 mm/1 3/8". I like the increased leg room but have a preference for round pegs like on a sport bike. I found some on eBay with even more drop, so these are for sale. Good condition. The right one has some pitting, like the PO took the bike off pavement a bit. Re-uses stock springs and pins. Takes less than five minutes to install.
Asking $60, including CONUS shipping. PayPal preferred. TIA

Bump for lower price. Now asking $60 including CONUS shipping. Nice increase in legroom, they work great.

Sorry. Sold.

Answered too quickly, there. I got round adjustable offset pegs on eBay. IIRC they were about the same drop, I just prefer round pegs-guess it's the sport bike rider in me...

Is this wht you got? Have you ridden with them yet?

Lather, is there something backwards about that picture?
-
Wow! Took me a minute to see what you were taking about. How did they do that?
-
Try this
-
Questionable improvement? :rotflmao:
-
they are only 25 mm
-
Yeah, apparently the ones Charliedog found were more than 35mm but I haven't found them. Hopefully he will post a link. Ebay search kinda sucks
-
Try searching for 'extended' foot pegs. There's some with 40mm drop. It's been so long I don't remember exactly what I got, but they sort of look the same. HTH
-
Never found them until I added 40mm to my search
-
Ordered a set. Look identical to the picture I posted except 40 mm instead of 25
-
They're nice to allow a slight fore-aft and lower range of position. The left one is limited by the edge of the rear shift pivot hitting the flat part of the peg mount when down shifting if you try to put the pegs too far forward. You can guess how I know this. And then the shift lever and the brake pedal will have to be re-positioned. And don't forget to adjust the switch for the brake light. You can also guess how I know this... In the end, tho, it is worth it-especially if a person has knee problems.

OK I ordered a set also. Will use till I can find a set of genmar brakets. Ive got a red 09 should I get the red pegs or the balck, maybe the silver...... alohahahahaha

Sorry to hear of your problems, I had none. I would suggest contacting the seller, maybe even send photos. Good luck.

I ordered a set and 8nsyalled them today. Three boxes one for the pivots one for the arms and one for the pegs. My screws were correct sizes. There were 6 pins, you only need 4. Instructions were minimal.. the manufacturing workmanship seemed very good. not sure the design is perfect. Seems way less robust than OEM or other products I have tried. And the angle may be a bit off. I will post more after a test ride.

Did a 30 mile test ride with the new pegs and am well pleased. Not a long enough ride to really tell if they will significantly improve comfort but I can say my legs felt a little more relaxed with a bit more room. They look a lot better in my opinion than the flat semi footboard type I had before and feel better in twisties when I am on the balls of my feet. They feel solid and no problem putting my full weight on them.
for reference here is a link to the listing on Ebay and below that I will post a picture on my Connie:

Got mine on today too. A little concerned that those bolts are sooooo skiny holding evry thing together. BUT glad you tested them.
Ill go out in the a.m.
For $40 bucks I gues they will do till I can find some used genmars.
ANYONE HAVE A SET OF USED GENMAR LOWERING BRACKETS ????????????

Hello Lather & CB, thinking of ordering theses also. Just wondering if you had to also reposition both gear & brake pedals, and also the brake switch?
Thanks

On my first ride with them I had a couple of missed shifts so I lowered the shift lever about 3/8th inch. After todays ride I think I will go down anoth 8th of an inch. I rarely use the rear brake and forgot to even test that but will try to remember next ride. Keep in mind I already had the levers adjusted for use with Murphs pegs. You may need to lower more if going from OEM pegs.
