So, who isn't done yet?  I did the H&R Block thing this year, cost me over 6 bills this year and still owed another 7+.  Here's to hoping good returns for at least one of ya :)

I got some back and with state about a grand.  Better than I usually get but then I had more donations to Goodwill last year.

Gravity from the Federal Black Hole got hold of me this year because I used IRA $$ to buy a home. I waited till the last possible moment to give them what they claim is theirs.

I got a rather large return, but small compared to how much was withheld.  Mostly because of a retroactive paycheck that included back pay increases for about three years.  Rolled in with a usual bi-weekly paycheck, and the whole thing withheld at the maximum rate.   :o

I got ~$100 back from my wonderful  :o state of Illinois but owed the Feds ~$1k. It's about the same every year; I'd rather have use of my money throughout the year than let the Feds have it.

I had to cough up an additional $52K above my normal quarterlies. :o

What irritates me is my government uses my money so wisely.

Owed the state, getting some back from Feds for a net positive back. Only a couple of hundred. That's the way I like it. Don't want to have to pay more in but don't like it when I get a lot back cuz it means they got the free use of my money for some time. I begrudge them every penny.

+1 on getting a little back.  Actually enough to pay for hallway carpet in our Ranch house.  Not expected but welcome.

Today is actually my Wife's birthday.  Not that I would ever forget it.   :)  Getting her new carpet gives her something new to change in the house.

I live in Texas, so there is no State income tax.  ;D

Accountant charged me $225 to do my taxes so that I could get back $850. Better than last year when I had to send another $3k to Uncle Sam to misuse.  :'(

Just wish my "fair share" wasn't so dang much!!! My wife an I paid in more than the cost of my first house and my first two new cars COMBINED.  :o

You all are missing the point. None of it is your money. It all belongs to the Fed. You just pay the interest while it's in your possession.

Shamelessly stolen from elsewhere on the internet:

Did you ever notice if you put the words "The" and "IRS" together it spells "THEIRS"?

Evian water spelled backwards is naive. And if you play that Beatles album backwards, it screws up your needle.
