So what did everybody get for Christmas?
My two favorite were my new Excaliber dehydrator and my new Savage .17. Coming in a close second were my nice new riding gloves.
-
Hard to pick a favorite, no cycle stuff but 2 come to mind though;
1. On the way to the in-laws for Christmas dinner, noticed 2 bald eagles perched in the trees along the riverbend which paralleled the road we were on.
2. received a hardcover book; Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly.

I got too many gifts but my favorite present was being with family up in the Carolinas Christmas, and the Connie gave me another 1300 care-free miles past few days. We're all blessed yet another Christmas! :D

Easy for me...I only got one present, an ejector for my keltec p3at. Darn little thing gets lost pretty easily.
Add: forgot to add that I bought one and kel-tec sent me two with a note that said "Merry Christmas". Thought that was pretty cool.

Can you guess which one might be the 'motorcycle-related' ? ;)

My son bought the heat gun to replace my old one he 'lost'. I thought it was funny that he found a true Kawasaki green one. Doesn't match my 2001 blue C-10 but I will manage.
Or, did you pick the "human hydration liquid" in the case on the right? I have been known to celebrate at the end of a good ride with a Guinness. Too bad I have put my C-10 away for the season here in WI. I just will just have to skip the 'end of the ride' part and go right for a bottle of brew.

My wife and I got this from my brother in law. His friend make it by hand and had it powdercoated copper. It was supposed to be under $25, but I really doubt that it was. This has to be one of my favorite gifts I have ever received.

Santa brought me some Rizoma zero-11 turn signals for my sv 650 that are bright. I wish these woudl fit the c 14 for the added safety they offer. I like them, but my favorite gift is the laptop I bought for my granddaughter. The look on her face was Christmas.

I got a great after-Christmas present. For many reasons I won't list here, I found the time and need to send a New Year's card to an old friend (female-type) whom I haven't seen in 13 years. No, it isn't a booty call, and that part of our friendship is long gone. But I had worried about how her life had turned out and I needed to say some things. I got a nice call back, it turns out she is fine and happy and has had a great life, and we are going to reconnect next week.
Life is strange.
Happy New Year to ALL!!

Garmin Nuvi 3450 to replace my broken Magellan crossover.
And a real surprise, a friend gave me a Spektrum DX6i state of the art 6 channel RC remote and the Phoenix RC simulator. He is heavy into RC helicopters. His diabolical plan worked and I went out and bought a Blade SR RC heli so we can go fly together.

Spending Christmas with my wife after working it so many years. My health. And making our last payment on our equity loan and credit cards. No debt, only utility bills and property tax, we own everything.

I guess I should add that we don't spend over $100 cash for each other for Christmas and whatever we do get each other it CANNOT be made in China. Makes for interesting shopping.
-
I would have to pick two- the favorite in my lifetime would be Ronald Reagan, and my all- time favorite would be Mr. Lincoln.

Now that's cool, I can't wait for the day of paying off the house, sure seems to take forever...

Strawboss is my hero! So many people are in Golden Handcuffs. I salute a man who has earned his freedom.

That looks neat. I may get one of them as well and hook up to the Weather Underground..

It's great fun Jim. The software that is used to connect to the Weather Underground is free and it's called Cumulus. It's very powerful and is great for graphing any and all variables.
The price of the station went down $20 since I bought it. >:(
I bought the optional solar shield for the temp/hygrometer sensor so that I didn't have to worry about placement of that sensor.

I forgot to mention the Tourmaster Synergy 2.0 electric jacket liner. Why did I wait for 30+ years of riding to get heated gear??

I wondered the same thing. Heated gear is friggin' awesome. If you don't have any, you're missing out big time.
