I just thought I'd put this out there for anyone that wants to keep their hands warm without having to install permanent grips.


Plus, I use "Grip Puppies" over my gel grips to add a little more comfort.  Bar mounted grip heaters wouldn't provide much heat to my hands.

No, I don't have any experience using them..............................yet.

Mine used to get cold.  My pops keeps trying to talk me into grip heaters, I keep telling him that the palms of my hands dont get cold. Gerbing heated gloves solved all my problems

I use Oxford Handlebar Muffs, they keep you warm enough that you can still wear summer gloves!
I also have Frank thomas sub zero winter gloves which are fantastic at keeping you pinkies from getting ice cold and for real high speed japes better than the muffs as the muffs tend to start pulling the clutch in at speeds above 110mph on the GTR and 80mph on Sports bikes.
Saying that, summer gloves combined with 170mph+.... the last thing you feel is cold!

Silk glove liners also help almost any pair of gloves feel warmer in the winter.

Only when I reach into the ice chest for a cold one! Lol.

I keep a pair of glove liners in the compartment and if it's really cold, I have some thinsulate gore tex gauntlets. Olympia I believe? If it's too cold for that, I'm probably cold elsewhere.

I've got a pair of lightly used Firstgear heated gloves I would sell. My heated grips have served me well, and I don't need them anymore.  They work great!

I have found out if you can keep the wind off your hands that would be a major improvement. I just live in a place where it almost never gets that cold.

Early morning here in NC last year it hit 17 degrees,  And it was only a 35 min ride to work. I think that has been the coldest I've ridin it so far.

I guess I'm a little soft.  I really don't do any cold weather riding.  I mean, I'll commute to work and back untill the salt trucks come out.  But I've only got a 6.5 mile ride to work.  I'm there before I know it....................or want to be .

Your not soft just.... smart. At the end of the day you want to be comfortable and enjoy the ride.  I myself have been scoping out heated liners. I really don't want the bulk of layering.
