Haha...I was going to post a message thanking you for the morning run...makes it much more fun and interesting when I'm trying to stay ahead of you, or keeping up.

I have yet to lane split, but I do snake through cabs waiting at the light outside my building on Constitution. Could not do that with the bags, I've even clipped my mirrors a couple of times on the 02 Connie.

You guys should go in at 3:30AM like I do.  No traffic and only a couple State boys to watch out for.  And maybe some deer now.  But it is usually smooth sailing at a very good pace with 80mph being about the low end.

3:30?? Damn, I thought 5:30 was early!

Good thing I wasn't spirited this morning...at least 5 cops sitting and waiting.

Hey guys!  I posted a ride request for this Friday (Veteran's Day) in the "Rides" section.  I'm off for the holiday (work for Prince William County) but the wife isn't.  Any takers?

I don't miss the commute I did for 25 years up 95 from Dale City and even Winchester for a while.  Now I just go from Lorton to the PW stadium, all of 10 miles.

Yep 3:30.  And that is my choice.  But I am also done by 2 and have Wednesdays off now. SO I figure 4 days a week I can get up early.

Frank i would love to but eventhough I am lucky enough to now have a 4 day work week, I still work for a private company that only believes in the handful of days a year as holidays and Veterans Day isn't one of them.  And I am replacing the heater core in the Taurus this weekend or I would suggest a Saturday or Sunday ride.  If it turns out this nice next weekend, let me know if you want to go out.  The kids soccer games end this weekend and other than the gun show in Chantilly next weekend, I have no plans other than maybe ride and/or shoot.

Would be fun, but I'm not able to Friday or this weekend. Next weekend is open I believe, so let me know.
