I have several riding outfits, pretty much use all of them.

One thing to keep in mind if you are going to need commuter outfit, the Stich goes over street cloths easier and faster than anything else.  You may not be able to put it on in 15 seconds, but if it takes you 30 seconds, you're doing it wrong.

keeping it going, just so the O/P feels good, (once he get his he'll know the reason...)
stopping on the road sucks big dik.   having a stich, and putting it on daily, and walking out to ride, ends up being a habit.
there is no "inbetween" to think "what will I wear today?"
my wardrobe tells me go to work...or to play, or  to go across the country.....

I guess I should correct my statement, there are actually 3 types responding...:
those wearing a Stich.....
Those that did wear a Stich, and don't have the money right now to do it....
and those that have no freaking clue how nice they really are.

"or maybe even  better suit suit from other manufactures for 3-500 bucks .".....

and, maybe pigs launched out of a cannon can fly......
I'm not the kinda guy who walks around in expensive clothes.
I thought $1000+ (with alterations) was a lot of money to spend (still do!)

Not as hot as the full black leather I used to wear, and a heck of a lot more visible at night!
Custom fit!
And

Duluth, Minnesota U.S.A.

Verdict: I'd buy again. (But I hear I gotta wait about 10 years to wear this one out first.)

Spread that over 10 or better years of hard daily use and the cost factor comes way down.

There is no question that Aerostich has a good product and many happy customers, but their designs are outdated and out of style. They need some young, talented people in charge of their new designs. For that reason, I just bought Rev'it 2 pc. and not Aerostich. IMHO.

very nice!
