Hello everyone
« on: May 26, 2021, 03:04:17 AM »
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself as a new member... Eddie, designer, London, practical tinkerer and GTR owner.

I've had my 2010 GTR1400 for ten years now, about 80k on the clock. I do all my own servicing and repairs, and just this year started doing my own tyre changes (after a second tyre mechanic smashed my TPMS). I also have a 20-year-old BMW GS.

Looking forward to posting some stuff about TPMS repair soon, also have some 3D printed farkles and tools I might dig out for you.

I'm around if you are in stuck in London and need a hand.

See you all in the forums...

Welcome Eddie from cloudy Essex.  :D
Where in London are ya?

My 08 (bought new in Aug 07) only has 75k on her, so yer ahead of me there.
I've done TPMS battery changes once and they seem to have lasted well since then.
It'll be interesting to see what you've been up to.
I spend most of my time fiddling with my GTR1000s.
The 1400 is my "sportsbike" as I'm too big for normal sportsbikes.

Welcome!

Don't forget about the UK site as well for some good information..  And be wary of the silly one above.

Welcome Eddie. Good bunch of folks on this Forum, and lots of tinkerers/backyard inventors & designers.

Ride safe, Ted
