What Color IS The OEM Rack?

I am getting my used backrest and adapter (they are red, my bike is black) power coated on Saturday.  I was supposed to have the rack before then and I was hoping to match the color.  But the rack is going to be late.

I am not canceling my powder coat appt and I haven't seen the rack in person.  Is it flat/semi/gloss?
Black/dark gray/other?

   When I bought mine in '94 it was black. Same as the bag rails.

I think what you want to know is it is matte black not flat black.  Semi-gloss may be a little more shiny than what you want.  And yes, it pretty much matches the antlers (bag rails) in sheen.
