Please tell me, I might be ok.
« on: April 16, 2021, 06:12:36 PM »
2006 ZG1000
First oil filter change.
I was not sure what it meant when it said  ( Be careful that the element grommets do not slip out of place ) I thought  I had it all back together fine, and the bolt to screw it on took right away. Put the oil back in, go to start it and I herd a loud noice, like a bolt. It would not start at all after that. Running perfect before oil change .
Any ideas guys and girls, where to start what to do. Or is my bike done ?
Cant thank you all enough for being here and willing to help
Cheers

Did you hear a thud? Loud metal clunk? Did you have any gasoline leak anywhere? Especially out of the airbox?

Will the motor turn but not start or is the motor stuck?

I suggest you post the question to the C10 forum, here: https://zggtr.org/index.php?board=5.0 where it is more likely to be seen (than on the "open" forum).

I don't think you can.  But you can just copy and paste it to a new thread over there.
