I was on a flight once, was a few minutes late closing the door when he walked on carrying a guitar in a case. I assume it was Lucile.

He was a spokesman for LifeTouch - they make glucometers - I met him at a Diabetes conference my pharmacist wife was attending...

Not that he'd remember - He probably thought I was an idiot - I sorta made a fool of myself doing the whole gushing fan thing...

Oh, well...    I shook B.B. Kings hand...   

Loved his music - currently listening to "Riding with the King - the BB/Clapton project - awesome.

Blues inspired rock is my favorite genre of music.  Stevie Ray Vaughan, Foghat, Aerosmith, AC DC, early ZZ Top, etc.  When I get my 3 months free satellite radio, I listen to the blues station.  I am amazed at how many of the songs I grew up with are remakes, or variations of the black man's blues.
