I think the trick is not to apply/remove it often, could break. I love it, it's just something to give my right hand a rest every once in a while.

Great cheap cruise. One of the advantages is when you start up a hill you can give Connie a little more throttle and at the top of the hill just let go and  the cruise goes back to the same speed.

Yeah, I'm pretty stuck on mine, although it would be nice to have a Vista-Cruise with the thumb latch for a little more permanent type of fixture that wouldn't take up any of my hand-grip space at all...but for $20 and a 15-second install? Cannot beat it with a stick! I very rarely engage mine for more than about 15 seconds anyway...just to flex the hand or hang it out in the breeze to cool off...

Like I have said before.  I like my go cruise.  But I don't consider $20 for a 25 cent piece of plastic cheap.

. . . I don't consider $20 for a 25 cent piece of plastic cheap.

That's pretty much anything. What is the cost of the raw material in a Vista Cruise, or a TV, or a tire?

Not very much.

I wish I had invented the stupid thing   ;D

Alls I got to say is if the Vista was sticking then it wasn't installed correctly. I had it on my XS Eleven and now on the Connie and I have never had a problem with it. Of course with the XS it was designed to fit right on.  That said, glad the GC is working for ya. Sounds like an easy install. Of course like they say if you don't show any pics then it hasn't really happened.  ;D

same here with the o-ring. Anything over 4k and it starts decreasing speeds.  Is the GC the same way? I hae a set of murphs grips, and they have a little space in them I think it would fit right on the grips so I might try it.

I have stock grips with grip puppies. There is a small space exposed and it fits just right.

I apologize if this is a "Hy-Jack" post........not intended. Just my $.02 on the subject. I picked up a brand new set of throttlemeisters for $80.00. I'm in Omaha Nebraska right now and used it extensively. Guess I'm getting whimmpy.  ;D. I do love'm. A real hand saver.
