Um, you're not forgetting my cut are you? You know, a small percentage as a finders fee? I'm thinking 33%, how's that sound to ya?
If it is widely publicized, class-action lawsuits are usually a waste of time. Makes tons of money for lawyers and ends up distributing an insulting amount to a fraction of those people those actually "injured". I can't even count how many of those things have been mailed to me. One was about a product I bought for something like $500 and, yep, it went defective and I had no recourse. Along came a class-action suit FIVE YEARS LATER and they promised after spending an hour filling and mailing paperwork, I might get $50 in several months. Although I didn't bother, I am pretty sure later than year I read about people getting $10. At least the business was punished.
