7500 mile service
« on: July 20, 2011, 01:53:49 PM »
7500 coming up soon. I looked in the manual for everything that gets done on this service. I also read the other thread on this where most say to do it yourself and by-pass some of the bigger stuff.

plugs, I can see letting that go with todays plugs.
engine vacuum sync. could this be let go till the valve adjust?

everything else I can handle myself.
whats the going rating for the 7500 service?

I didn't pay for mine since I bought my bike with 19,000 on it but the going rate from what I have seen is around $200-$300+.  If I were you, I would do like you said and skip the big stuff until you do your first valve check.
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.
