Did Kawasaki make a gold Concours (GZ1000)?
« on: April 24, 2021, 06:15:39 PM »
Hi all,
I have a 2002 Concours 1000 and I have been looking for a pair of luggage fairing covers (they cover the luggage mounting brackets).  I did find a pair on ebay and the seller says they are OEM GOLD.  Did Kawasaki ever make the GZ1000 in Gold?  My bike is silver and its hard to tell from the pictures just what color the ones for sale are.  Any help with finding out if Kawasaki ever produced a Gold model would be very much appreciated.  I just can't find the answer.
Thanks to averyone.

Yes they did, 2005. Kawasaki called the colors Pearl Luster Beige with a dark bronze lower.

So, the 2005 'gold' covers won't match your bike. 2002 was a unique color to that year.

A life undreamed is a waste.  A dream unlived is a sin.
