Title: C-10 center stand
Post by: tweeter55 on March 21, 2012, 12:17:59 PM
On my old RT I had a Reynolds Rideoff center stand. It was wonderful especially when the bike was loaded. Does anyone manufacture the same type/design for a Connie? I know some of it has to do with technique, but, there ain't any of us gettin' any younger.

"Build a better mouse trap and the world will beat a path to your door"

I dont think there is much out there other than a block of wood that is going to help this ol girl get on or off her centerstand :-\

A taller tire helps tremendously.

Good call I missed that one. My GT's (goldwing sized) that I have mounted on my 02 helped alot.

I found that out when I had my last Shinko on. It was a good tire till it started to come apart. Good thing it was one on the recal list. I am still not sure I will go back to Shinko, time will tell.

Thanks for the help fellas. Guess I gotta work on my technique. I do need new tires before any serious riding this summer. I'll check out that angle first & see what I come up with.
