(Crap, I accidentally edited and wiped my original post instead of adding an additional post. Duh)
(Originally, I said that the 2010 (gen2) the ABS was optional and linked brakes were part of the ABS. Also said I was almost positive that traction control was bundled with the optional ABS and that in 2011 it all became standard equipment).
(Then I wanted to add....)
I will add, presumably it became standard because the bike was already very expensive and the market for this type of bike demands ABS. Dealers don't move many of them to begin with, so having some with and some without ABS was probably a logistics nightmare for them.
So finding/discovering a non-ABS gen2 will be rare, indeed. One year only, and low demand.
