I went back to my local Wal Mart. Still no Rotella T6 but a bunch of Super Tech Synthetics I have not seen before, including a Super Tech V-Twin 20W50.

Been wanting to get rid of our accord ('15 4 cyl exl) ever since it got passed down to me (death in family, one car had to go, ended p being my g37 6mt). Carmax offered 2/3's of what was paid for it back in spring of '15. This was a great deal but what to replace it with.  I absolutely refused to pay over msrp.

Initially settled on a rdx but had second thoughts during the final test drive. It just wasn't conducive to my driving style. Then decided on a kia k5 gt (2.5L turbo). Car was no where to be found in the gt1 trim and/or dealers charging thousands over msrp.  No go.  Eventually settled on a stinger with the same engine. Found a dealer ~60 miles away out in the country selling them below msrp. Overall it's a decent car, but build quality definitely not the same as the infiniti was.  Decent hauler, that 2.5T is rated at 300hp, 311 ftlb torque, sadly awd (preferred rwd). 25/40 cu^3 ft storage with the rear seats up/down. Something different on the road.

Still alive and kicking.  Still regret passing on the k1600gt 2 years ago.  Sweet replacement for the c14/fz1.

Happy Holidays!

The break in the supply chain issue has been real for months already, some may say a year.  Certain things are not as easy to get as they used to be.  I'm in the market to buy a new truck, but there is no inventory available for what I want, so I ordered one in October.  The dealer indicates it might be in by Christmas.

After a 2 1/2 month wait, the truck came in.  This 2022 is replacing a very rusty 2012 model.  It's not the miles, it's the rust.
