New 3 wheeler
« on: August 14, 2013, 04:32:17 PM »
Interesting concept, front wheel drive instead of rear wheel. Sez it gets 84 mpg and an 8 gal tank. Comes standard with AC, power windows and ABS all for $6800.

But the best part it you can get it in ZG's color!

If it's $6800.00 (plus a few options), why is the Can Am Spyder RTS $20K?

Here is a review of the only prototype the company currently has and from the review, it sounds like there are a lot of promises of "oh, that production model won't be like that".

2014 does seem a bit optimistic.

I've liked tadpole trikes for a long time. This one appeals to me, though I'd be willing to trade a few mpg for better performance figures.  Once they get some prototypes out on the road, instead of mules, I believe there will be another upsurge in interest.  As is, if they can produce the vehicle as promised, I plan to get one.

IMHO, it looks like they may be able to pull it together.

Nice size for a coffin  :_shudder_Emoticon .  Somewhat flashy, though.  I would think I'd have a better chance of survivability on a bike or my Prius.

Excellent thread for my first shudder smiley usage.
