Some of us just can't ride as much as we want.  I'm a pilot and work 7days on away from home and 7 days off at home.  During the week I have a ton of house work to do.  I can't ride the bike to work due to luggage and headset bag.  But when I do take it out it gets miles.  First trip in 08 8 day trip from Boston to Nova Scotia, last year 7 day trip back roads Boston to PA, this year 7 day trip Boston to WI.  When I ride with my friends on some  weekends we usually do 500 mi days.  I wish I could ride it more but the time isn't always there.

I'm not a professional pilot, but GA flying does take much of my time (fly out of Norwood - hey, it sounds like you're from around here, we should ride!). Plus I put on about five hours worth of golf every weekend, and there you have it: not much time. Stil, I've managed to put 7k on my new 2011 since April.
