Now that right there is a downright interesting photo. Must be 500 Hp there- 400 Japanese in the two 'Busas and close to 100 in all..... the rest.

Nope.

Oklahoma had two Hayabusas decked out with lights and sirens, specifically for hunting down sportbikers doubling and tripling the speed limit.

LOL!  I was thinking something similar when I first saw the photo... More like "Oh those poor officers having to ride those things beyond the Busas...

A Concours is probably the perfect compromise :)

Does it count if you just paid out some money but have no record of a speeding ticket?  :-X

A bribe? I'm sure that he just made a donation to the Policemen's Benevolent Fund...    ;)

You know those small town police chiefs are more interested in revenue than causing regular folks insurance rates to go up.  Even the small town Judges.

Got lucky today. Commuting to work, front row at a light on a 4 lane road, accelerated away from the herd up to 70 in a 55. Then backed off to 65. Eventually 2 cars doing about 70 caught up and passed me. Just as the second car goes by on my left we come over a rise and there are 2 C14 police bikes with 1 car already pulled over and an officer standing in the right lane waving the 2 cars over but signals me to continue on. Not a good way to start the day for those cagers.

Had a very nice warning yesterday. I was doing about 60 in a 30 and slowed for a group of cyclists coming the other direction to about 45 or so. The officer was standing in the middle of the road sideways, so I had no idea he was a cop. I started to bolt around him and he held his hand out for me to stop. I stopped right on the double yellow with the earbuds cranking out some of Metallica's finest. All I saw was his lips moving. I told him I need to turn down the music. Once I could hear him, he was asking me if I was on the phone. I was not. He said I was almost 20 over in a 30 and to take it easy. All the residents on the street are complaining about speeders. I said I was sorry officer. And a couple yes sir and no sirs were in there. Just a verbal warning without a license look up. Pretty lucky day for me.

A local cop and state trooper were parked in the driveway.

Saw my best friend killed on a dirt bike, doing probably 30+ MPH.  It's not the speed but the impact that does the damage.  No Helmet, and crushed his skull, both front and back    A sight I will never forget...  tp

I speed everywhere I go except in school zones and residential areas. As far as I'm concerned, they are not speeding tickets, they are "Expedient Travel Tarriffs". There are places between Phoenix and LA where you go 40+ miles between exits. That could be trouble for me as a new Concours owner  ;)

I'd recommend adding construction zones to your list...
