I didn't buy it there. I found a killer deal in Salem IL and jumped on it. My local dealership was having issues (long story) but I should have at least called them up and gave them a shot, I do regret that.  They didn't even ask me where I bought it.

I also asked them to check the steering head and the fork oil level, the front end has always felt a little funny/sloppy.  I do believe the rotors are warped. They pulse rather strongly whether I apply front or rear.  What's weird is that they have done it since the day I bought it.  Do these discs GET warped from use or come warped from the factory?

Also, I'd love any suggestions on how to make sure they are replaced. And how do I check the quality of work?  This seems obvious and I am competent mechanically (replaced piston and rings and top end on a 4 stroke dirt bike and am planning on yanking flies) but if there is something you think might aid me, chime in.

Paint some lines on the fasteners so you know if they have been removed.  Did you by at the dealership in Salem that is in an old Kmart or Walmart building?  Bought a used '09 Nomad from them in October 2011.  Great guys to deal with.

This is a post I justposted about my 3rd set of warped rotors on 3 different Concours 14s. My latest one just hit 3,000 miles.

Any clue what's on the service bulleting in your other thread?

No, but I am hoping someone in this forum might be a LEO and know what it is about.

This pisses me greatly.  We're the ones that found this rotor warping first, not the LEO bikes.    And we don't get the benefit of this?  :censored: :censored: and  :censored: !  Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot.  We get to talk to Mark at Kawasaki.  That's a wonderful benefit.  :censored:

I think it has to do with the jerky feeling from the linked brakes, but not sure.

That's where I got the bike. They had a stupid deal on it, too good to pass up.

I know what you mean.  I was just browsing ebay and ran across the nomad.  Bought it (stole it),  added a few key parts to it and flipped it the next spring to purchase the Concours.

It was brand new, 0 miles.

I did talk to the guy at the dealer, he said the rotors ran out fine, he said my tires were toast, which I knew.  I have Pirelli Angel GT's on order and will bring them in and they will mount them and test it again for giggles. I also had them check the steering head and fork oil, it always felt a tad clunky sometimes when transitioning from on to off the gas or vice versa.  First time I have dealt with a dealer in eons, my last several bikes were used. The last new bike I bought was a 2003 bought new in 2004.
