Hi,
I'm glad to have found this forum. I was recently a member of COG (2nd time in 20 years). However, I requested them to terminate my membership and remove my profile. Talk about a dysfunctional website. It seemed like you had to log in every time you changed screens. I've also owned my C10 since1997 (original owner) and then they want to categorize me as "big wheels". F**k them.
So, here I am, hoping for better. I still have my C10 and have recently acquired a 2011 C14 police version. I've pretty much got it back to standard. I recently came across a mint Vetter trunk from and old Gold Wing. Mounted up no problem. It looks pretty cool.
I'd like to post some pics of my adventures turning theC14 back to normal but apparently there are size restrictions. Oh well, I'll work on it. I'm basically here for the personalities and the great info.
Nice to meet you all.
Cheers.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the read as much as your new ride.

Welcome! We're a pretty casual group here.
1994 "wineberry" model here, since new. Repainted to silver-blue-gray a few years back.
I may consider bumping the size limit on files up a wee bit, there's a ton of applications and websites that can reduce the size of a pic too.

I've been trying to post my 97 C10 for sale but I can't tell if it posts or not. Is there a waiting period for posting things for sale after joining?
-
Might be... Although after poking around I couldn't find a setting for that. It's been discussed before but I just keep thinking and nothing happens.

My old stomping grounds, I wish I could get back.
Welcome!

It's a bit of a zoo here these days. Beaverton recently declared itself a sanctuary city and the price of real estate is insane.
Still a great place to raise kids though.

I challenge your insane real estate prices with ungodly real estate prices of San Francisco, but I understand your point.
I've been looking hard for an IT job back in the Portland area for a few months now, aggressively looking after the first of the year. I miss my home. :(

Touche'. I can't argue with you on that. Lol.
Nike is preparing to add around 4000 new jobs. They are spending close to a billion on new facilities on their campus. It's worth keeping an eye on.
