Well what da ya think?
I think I have seen new with zero miles for as low as $13500.
What else ya got out there?

I made a mistake the bike is a 2010. So now $11500 seems too high.

Just purchased silver 11 from sport cycles in Rockingham NC for 13198. No addl fees. just pay the tax when you register it in your state. Could have bought a black one from mountain motorsports in kodak TN for 13 even but wanted silver. Mtn did not have any 11 silver ones left.  As the year winds down any dealer with a few left might take less.

You have to know that motorcycle dealers get a little nervous this time of year as temps and sales cool off.

FWIW...Costco has a Kawasaki M/C program very similar to the auto buying program. I gave them a shot back in August when I bought one and they could not beat the price I found by going on Flea-bay and Cycle trader. However after speaking with one of the program admin guys, they were working on the price model. As a 20 year experience auto wholesaler I had to explain it to the guy what it means when you are selling a commodity item. A new C-14 is a new C-14. Doesnt really matter where you buy it as long as all the cost are factored in. You dont want to spend 2 days and 500 dollars traveling to save 600 on your purchase.

I would recommend Jeff from Sport Cycles any day of the week.  I bought a Gold Wing from him and it was a very painless process.  If I had the choice I would spend the extra 1600 and buy new but not sure what a new one would cost in your area.

I bought my 2010 W/ABs and Traction Control(same bike just different color) 3 months ago with 1k miles on it and a couple farkles (Luggage Rack and Slip on) for about 11,400 OTD. So it sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

One more thing to consider is the sales tax factor. In my state of Georgia there is no tax or state transfer fees on a casual sale. That is one from one person to another, not involving a business. however if purchased from a dealer, even out of state as in my case you pay the tax. I know this is as dumb as sh*t, but thats  how back asswards the morons running the state are.

So, with that said, a purchase used from a person might make more sense than buying a new 11 even at a price of around 13k if you dont pay the tax.

But if tax or fees are collected regardless of from who or where you buy it, I say get a new 11 for high 12's to 13 range. If its a bike you will keep for a long time the small additional amount paid to buy new really doesnt matter that much.

I always look at a brand-new used one before buying a brand new new one but it seems to go the dealer route all of the time. Also as crazy as it may sound, I dont like taking off on a two wheeled 150mph gyro rocket that somebody else has monkeyed with.

Seems like getting a bike like the 14 new for 13 is a good buy.

Make him an offer, if its been for sale at his price for a while he'd rather have your offer over zero.

Seller will take $10,900,
pretty good deal for a 2010 with 4500 miles.
Is traction control and abs worth it?
This bike does not have traction/abs.
I been thinkin I wanted to get the abs but now not so sure.   :-\

I think it depends a lot of where you live and the competition.  From where I am, it sounds like a pretty fair deal if the bike is sound.
