Blue bestem hard trunk

Bought the blue bestem 2012 trunk on amazon for less than $50. (see link) The only colour they have available for the price is blue. It probably is not a perfect match to my sonic blue 2001. My research on this trunk leads me to believe that bestem paints to match Honda coronado blue.  The price is what got me to pull the trigger on buying. This is thier 42 liter case. Hope I like it. I think I will like it better than the small black tourmaster soft trunk I have now. Not sure what to do with the tourmaster case when I get the bestem one mounted.

I have a rack that I got with bike that mounts to the behind the seat grab bar with 2 bolts. I think it will be sturdy enough. Don't know the brand of that rack. I assume that I also have the standard c10 rack but have never looked under the cover. The trunk could also be mounted their but something leads me to believe that is a little more complicated. Not sure when I will get around to fooling with the bike. 

Just wanted to let you guys  know about what I think is a good deal if interested. The amazon sale is currently only on the Blue trunk.  Other Bestem 40 plus liter trunks are around 85 = 90 dollars on Amazon. My trunk supposedly just shipped. Will give my review when I get it.

It looks close to what i have. You will like it. They do the job. mine will fit 1 XL fullface in it with room to spare.

saw pictures of your bike and discussion of your trunk use when I was trying to decide what case to buy. Thought your comments were helpful, so thanks. I can't  believe how inexpensive these cases are getting. (I can almost afford to buy one and still eat)  I really don't know what made me spring for the one I got. Also thought about this one.

It is a little bigger but about 60 bucks with shipping and black. It does not mention that it has lights. Pretty sure I wil not wire in the light right away though. I don't see how these cases can be sold for any less than they are currently selling.

The blue Bestem trunk arrived. Not much to say in way of review. The blue is darker than it appears in the picture. It is a hard trunk. I think my main use will be to lock the mesh jacket up when I am off the bike. It is big enough to  hold other stuff also. I can't say how the closing mechanism compares to more expensive trunks.

It looks like the sale price is no longer in effect. Glad I got mine when I did.

Is anyone running the Bestem 929 46 lt trunk with led lights?  From what I can see on there site it looks nice.  Just trying to get more info before I make a purchase.
