GSXR caliper question

If anybody has done the 4-pot conversion, can you tell me if your 01-03 Tokico caliper pistons had insulators or were they hollow?  The earlier Tokico 4-pots had crimped in non-removable ones and my stock 2-pots have removable insulators.  I just bought a set of 2002 GSXR 4-pots and there are no insulators and I'm wondering if that's correct.

I have a set of Tokico 4 pots off a 2001 GSXR 750 and there are no insulators.
