2006 FOR SALE

I hate to do this but looks like I will be off the bike for awhile due to back surgery in a few months. I love my 06 and just had the bags painted so this is a hard sell for me. But no knowing how long I will be off sell it and hopefully get something eles in a few years. I have the complete history on the bike and maintenance records. Bike has 14,000 miles and a fresh service. Bars risers , peg lowers, custom seat and rear tipover bars. Located in Fresno California.

Good news. Looks like I will able to keep the 06. had a long talk with the back Doctor today. The surgury will not be as bad as I was led to believe. He said I should be back to work in 3-4 weeks and back on the bike in 2-3 months. I think I can let her sit for that long. I did not want to sell it but at first it looked to be a year or longer before I would ride again. But now I think I can live with it sitting for a few months.

Thanks Doug, I too am pleased with the news. Looks like Nov before they will do the cutting. I will miss the fall riding season but looks like the spring I will be back.

WOOHOO :D That is great news. As someone who holds onto bikes along time (have had my Z1 since 1976) I hate to see anyone have to get rid of a bike that they finally got set up the way you like. Keep us informed on when the surgery is.

Beautiful bike, I am envious every time you post a pic, so glad you get to keep enjoying her. I got mine through a similar situation. The PO was on disability due to a back injury and was worried about comprimising his case if he was spotted on the bike. Sad for him, great for me!
