1995 C10 in Central Indiana
« on: August 07, 2011, 12:01:02 PM »
Well, since Ive only ridden it on 3 long rides, I think its time for someone else to get some use out of it.
1995 Concours 1000
17421 miles

Paint is in excellent shape.  Very few dings/nicks.  In fact, none that I can see, but Im sure someone else could find a few that I overlook.  All tabs intact, and no cracks or missing pieces.
Done before I got it:
Stainless front brake lines, new speedo cable, newer Avons (rear is getting flat in the middle), bar risers, hi-way pegs (, Throttle Meister cruise, 2 minute carb mod, Sonic Springs 1.2, KB Fork Brace (never installed), ZZR1200 shock,  includes all parts removed too (springs, fact shock, etc), thumb screws for side covers.
What I did:
Adjusted valves, K&N filter,  new throttle cables (both), synced carbs, changed oil (Mobil 1 TDT 5w40), Bled clutch and brakes,  New windshield well nuts,  Rifle with home-made screen (stocker included), replaced incorrect color side covers,  grip puppies, Brians Heat shields (not yet installed), Ceramic coated headers (not yet installed), New NGK Iridium plugs, block off plates, stick coils, quick release tank kit, new gel battery, Corbin seat (stock included), had Steve go thru the carbs again, added overflow tubes (mine, not Steves), new t-stat, new t-stat housing o-ring, new coolant log o-rings, removed evap system (CA like bike).
**Just to clarify, the stock headers are on it now, the ceramic coated ones are an extra set I bought just for that...

Runs excellent.  Especially since I got the right coils, and Steve got my carbs sorted!

I think thats about it...but Im sure there is something Im missing...done a lot to it with the expectation of riding a lot this Summer, but the heat and having no time really hasnt allowed me to ride it much at all.  I guess Im more in need of a commuter type bike, something smaller, more for city riding than long distances....and before anyone says it, no space or fund (or approval from the CFO) for another bike.

$3500

Will not sell parts.  Selling the whole shebang or nothing.  If the next owner wants to sell farkles, he/she can do so.

I should add, I dont know exactly how serious I am about selling it....but I wont jerk anyone around, if I speak to someone, and we agree on a price and I say Ill sell it, I wont back out.
