Title: Lower plastics
Post by: Cold Streak on September 01, 2019, 01:40:45 PM: Can someone remind me how to get the plastic fastener apart that holds the three lower pieces together?
I’m referring to the black lower ones right in front.

Yep. I always wondered why they did that. I think it is the *ONLY* one of that type on the entire bike. Perhaps it was just too much gap and stress for the "standard" plastic rivet.

They actually make a removal tool for them that you can pick up for $10-$20 if you have plastic rivets you will be removing a lot. My ATV’s use them for everything, so it was definitely worth it for me.
