Due to my medical condition with my hip not getting better after hip surgery I am going to have to sale my favorite connie. 3,800 original miles. in perfect condition. No scractches anywhere. Never been ridden in the rain or even been in the rain since new. Many Farkles, Forks are gold emulators with springs and fluid changed at 3200 miles, Murph fork brace, Stem bearings repacked and adjusted no wobbles. new Avons, front and rear aprox 400 miles on rubber, Wheels were polished and powdercoated clear, new bearings, Up dated old style fresh powdercoated Helibars, Dual Loud Fiam horns up front, vista cruise, Tokiko 4 pot updated front calipers, Stainless lines front, rear, and clutch lines. Fender extender, Updated murph lighting wiring harness and brighter bulb. new summer windscreen with mra vario adjustment wing( Also brand new never used cee bailey winter screen) comes with the deal. Ceranmic Coated silver exhaust system with brand new Scorpion muffler stinless baffle inside like staintune never needs repacking,(origianl headpipe cimes with it. Do not have original mufflers.) Shortened rear bliinkers with clear lenses , Priority plus rear tailight and blinker module. Rear blinkers are also running lights. Front Driving lights. Factory rear polished and powdercoated rear rack and side grab handle. Steve,s carb service and 2 min mod kit and exhaust cam gear last year. Oil changed 6 times with Mobil one, carbs syncd and valves adjusted, Antifreeze flushed last year while exhaust was getting ceramic coated. rear end fluid changed also 6 times. Rear Shock also fluid changed and serviced. I have all original parts foing with it except mufflers and windscreen. With all accerories I have way to much money invested in her my loss is your gain. Asking 4800.00 I have so much pain staking time and labor of love in this machine that I am not willing to sale any of the accerories or farkles off of the bike. everything goes wit her when she sales. Steve, I am sorry to see you sell the bike. You and I have talked about your hip issue in the past. I will tell you this. Who ever gets your bike they are getting one of the best 06's out there!! KEEP IN TOUCH MY FRIEND.

Thx Fellas, I am going to possibly try as much as I hate to, A cruiser. I have been riding since I was 7 yrs old and I am turning 53 june 22 of this year if the Good Lord is Willing. My friend has a vulcan 900 that I have riden and it seems that as long as the feet controls are forward visa/v ala cruiser I can do it, As long as I dont have to spread my legs as wide as the base of the connie/ gold wing or even my old Bandit 1250. So right now I am leanning towards a kawasaki meantstreak or suzuki m90. And I will still be on the site no matter what. Thx again Steve

A riding partner has an '06 Vulcan 1600. It has an upright riding position, floor boards mounted mid-foward, two inch up/two inch back riser blocks, solo seat with a backrest. It's hands down the best cruiser I've ridden.

g pink, I have ridden one of those they are agreat bike, If the connie moves I am going to try and find a mean streak. Its like a sport cruiser. Thx Steve

Thx for all that expressed an interest in 06 connie. Was sold yesterday by the first gentleman who inquired and took her for a ride. thx Don ( RoadHound) for bringing Jim to see her. Thx Jim for purchasing her and keeping her local. Look forward to seeing yu guys on the road , take care of her as I did, I know you will. Regards Steve

Snarf, thx sir I will always be around as you guys have been the greatest, I wish that my body could have been able to adapt. But with my slight injuries I sustained in Bosnia in 1999. And then getting my hip crushed up pretty good in Iraq in 2003, I am having to learn how to slow down now and smell the roses. I have my brand new 14 month old Gandson to keep me plenty busy also. Thx for your help on some of my projects in trying to help me with your Highway pegs to be able to try and ride her. And a big thx to all of my new friends and heroes I have on this great forum. Sorry to hear that you can't ride the connie anymore Steve. Your ZZR1200 shock is getting a workout up here in NW Ohio, the wife likes it over the stocker. I hope your new ride suits your needs.
