Finished the fuse block install and swapped the ZX/GP forks to the 09. Got halfway through the display control mod.

Added a dual usb port on the left side of the dash. What a pain in the ass.

Did MY first oil change, (dealer did very first at 620 miles) needed to use a pair of channel locks to get the oil filter off.

Also changed the rear diff lube over to Mobil 1 full synth 75W-90.

I use the same type of gear lube. The GM stuff.
My bike stuck like glue with the new Avon 3D Ultra. I only rode it one day in Arkansas, but it felt awesome.
I picked up that rear tire up from Motorcyclecloseouts for $107.

Do you have a C-14 then?

I originally put a port in my '01.  My writeup is on Blogger.com.

This winter, I replaced the charging port I had and the USB plug with a dual-port USB port in my C-10.  Rather easy for me.  C-10's have ready access to the dash.

I do, 2011 model year. The left side of the dash has a blank spot where you can drop a power port, the metal bracket behind it has a square hole, smaller than the double usb I had on hand. Pain in the butt was enlarging the hole in the bracket to allow it to fit.

Yep, no sunburn lotion or mosquito repellent.   I got sunburned, but no mosquitoes.

Put the Murph's dual horn kit wires that I extended 13" for use on the C-14, into flex tubing conduit under the dash and moved the relay behind the intake snout to make the wiring nice and clean looking when you look down in the fairing.

No offence Jim, but there is a reason we call the English "Red necks" in the RSA. During the Anglo-Boer war, the sun used to burn their necks red with their short haircuts. Having a pale white skin here in SA is not a good thing.

You had to fight them too? When we kicked them out of the colonies we called them lobsterbacks. No offence.  :)

And now back to our main topic....

I installed a new set of PR4GT's on my bike yesterday, and an oil change. I used Rotella T6 and a Bosch filter. Is that a good oil to use? (haha) Getting it ready for my summer road trip next month.
