Hi all.
Purchasing a 2013 Concours Saturday (woohoo!), have been riding a BMW K1200LT for 8 years. Bad knees (one replaced, one pending), long inseam, so I'm definitely looking to modify the ergos a little bit.
Anyone have 2" risers that didn't require new brake/clutch lines, just swapped right in? What do you recommend?
Also, I've been looking at Knight Design lowered pegs, any recommendations/thoughts? I like the 1 3/8" ones on paper, but know very little about them
Finally, I'm picking up a Canyon Cage, was wondering if anyone has attached a decent highway peg TO the cage? If not, are there any decent ones that are compatible with the cage? (looking through posts here, it seems that some don't work with the cage)
MANY thanks in advance
Pete

I can help with the first two... The pegs from Murphs, in particular, are very nice.

Thanks, RightD. Did you have to adjust anything with the lowering kit?

I installed a set of canyon cages along with hiway pegs last fall. I went with the black Rivco pegs and brackets. They seem pretty decent for the price.

Same here. Very happy. six feet even, 210, 32" inseam, 63 year-old back.

Yes... Shift side is easy. Brake side is harder, but ultimately worth it.
The pegs are nicely made and make a big difference.

Lowering pegs. here's a good thread for you to read (I have the Buell pegs on my bike): http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=589.msg5346#msg5346 (http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=589.msg5346#msg5346)
As far as mounting Highway Pegs to the Canion Cage ......... I mounted some Kuryakyn Tour Tech Cruser Pegs (long) ( http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4167/Gloss-Black-Tour-Tech-Cruise-Peg-Mounts (http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4167/Gloss-Black-Tour-Tech-Cruise-Peg-Mounts) ) with these pegs: ( http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4173/Gloss-Black-ISO-Pegs-with-Male-Mount (http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/4173/Gloss-Black-ISO-Pegs-with-Male-Mount) ) I did have to use some shims to get the clamps from 1.25" down to 1".

hmmm, now I'm even more confused about what I want to get...but that's part of the fun of a new bike, no?
