Added a fuse panel for adding accessories, and some led lights to add to visibility. Waiting on some brake light/turn signals to go on next!

Day two was 640 miles, with 2 Flags Across America stops included. Day three was 590 miles, with 7 Flags pic stops, and day four was the ride home and 1000 miles.

Not a problem. That's only what, a 2 or 3 day trip up & back?

Bought a tube of that lock graphite and put a little bit in the tank gas cap, and in the lock under the stove knob. Also took a little bit of Liquid Wrench (I forget which flavor) and spritzed it in the latch while depressing the tabs.

Here's the rub - I can buy ethanol-free gas in my area, but it's only 87 octane. Not enough for the Connie. It's expensive, but not any more than the 93 octane with the garbage ethanol in it.

I'm now examining octane-boosters (Gumout, Rislone, Sta-bil, etc.) to see if there are any issues going in that direction....

I installed 5/8 " bar risers from ProjektD so I could raise the ZX14 forks .9 inch  to compensate for their extra length. I don't even notice the difference in ergonomics but the steering feels a little better.

I went to ride the Connie yesterday and found the battery dead. I've been taking the ZX14R more, since it's been so hot and gets more airflow. The battery is one of the super light weight lithium types. I heard they can sit for longer periods without discharging, but my results don't support that. Anyway, I put it on the charger overnight and fired it up today. I let it run for about 20 minutes and it sounded sweet!  I feel bad for letting it sit so long, but the weather has finally cooled down now so it will get used again.

Put on some murphs 2" risers and wedges, a Cal-Sci XL-Xwide used windscreen, a fender extender, a Cee Baileys headlight protector, and some tech spec pads on the tank :)

Went to go for a ride Saturday.A mile down the gravel, hit pavement and the low tire warning came on. Limped back home, plugged the tire and proceeded to ride a 110 miles. Fast forward to Sunday. Head out and same thing but I didnt quite make it make. Had to go get air tank. I assumed the plug came out but nope, another fresh hole. This is a rear Angel GT with about 6,000 miles on it. I am thinking rock punctures from the gravel.

I live in North Yorkshire which is a beautiful part of England, so I'm able to ride out to some stunning areas many of which are in small villages and are steeped in history.

So I rode out on Sunday through one of my favourite areas Richmond, Gilling West, Barnard Castle and returned home through Whorlton and Reeth, all on small country roads.

Here's a picture of my GTR parked up outside the magnificent Bowes Museum

Hope you like  :)
