Piteously mourned the fact that I can't ride because of a detached retina.

But don't you still have one good eye??

Take care of that bad eye, it'll heal up fast enough..

Tried to start it...of course it didn't start.  This bike is synonomous with Chrysler.

Put about 120 miles on it today. Took a few pictures. This is my first sport bike, and so far I like it. Just one question... do those bead seats really work?

@YoDoc, I bought a seat cover from BeadRider.com and it helped me a lot.  I know some guys don't like the way it feels, but for me it helps keep me going for hours without seat issues.

Ordered the last parts I needed for the Great Motorcycle Trip:  new lid for my E460 topcase; and an alaska sheepskin buttpad.  Now I just have to put the front end together, and I'm ready!

Looked all over the shop for the machined ready to fit  zx9 top triple tree,  for the zx9 fork mod, and couldn't find it.
I have a bad feeling about this...

Rode to the 4th Annaul Jeep go topless day here in NH.   Most of the Jeep owners wimped out and had their tops on due to the threat of rain.  Had the distinct of being the only bike there, but did not try to take her on the trails they were doing on the jeeps.  The field that was the parking lot was enough of an off road experience for me.   I officially have my first 1000 miles on the bike since buying her 2 weeks ago.   I still grin under the helmet when I ride.

Gassed her, rode her to the package store, and enjoyed the new Givi E52 trunk.

Mine's getting half that treatment...  It's raining!

I did just install a dual-band ham radio on her.  And an oil change and a SPOOFAK.  Once the rain passes today, I've got to do a few little things to finish getting ready for the NorthEast Spring Fling.

What did I do? I rode the snot out of her going to work. Scared a few children and small animals along the way. ;D The power this thing makes after SISF's  cam gear and 2 min. mod jet kit along with the baffle-ectomy is addicting. Its like it MAKES my right wrist "snap". When I told a friend of mine that it would now pull the front wheel just by snapping the throttle he was a little skeptical..... so I proved it to him..... twice..... ;D. Thanks again Steve for a great combination/bang for the buck.

 Rode her to work for the first time since October 2010 !!!!
Since being parked over hydrolock concerns, which turned out to be false, the bike has had the carbs 'SISF'-treated for overflow tubes, jets, and 2-minute kit.  Fairing gouges filled in with 'icing', sanded, painted, and clearcoated. Exhaust valves just replaced.  Fairing repaired again after trial ride home discovered cracks in fairing.

Yesterday was spent in Madison, WI, watching last daughter graduate from UW-Mad-town.  Yay, Anna!

Stayed up last night/this morning to get fairing repaired/repainted/reassembled.  Got the fairing on by myself at Midnight.  Finished with plastics, hoses, gas tank, farkles, dropped fairing nuts, windshield and all, by 330CST.

Two hours of sleep.  Get up and ride to work, 40 sunny, breezy miles at 40 degrees F.  'Speed and Strength' layered gear kept me warm, plus the Connie's built-in heater.  :)

The saturday before the site crashed. I changed the forks from my 1988s to 2004, 1998 brakes, fender and rotors, new pads. Changed the wheel to a 1991 ZR6D 17" Put on a michelin PR3 120/70 17". Installed a SOOFK Changed the oil. Changed Plugs. Set valve clearence six were tight .003. Relocated the overflow tank. Installed a fuse block on the right side of the battery box. While tightening the axle I broke the speedometer drive gear. I checked to make sure the notch was lined up but it must have moved and the stress split it in two.Today the new one came from Ron Ayers, I put the front end together. Changed the fluid in the brakes and clutch mastercylinders and bled them, the clutch was the worst. If the rain stops I'll take it out tommorow.
